Facebook is currently experiencing their second outage in a week.  The first outage took place on September 24, 2015; Facebook was back up by early afternoon, but no explanation was provided to users about the cause.

Now users are experiencing a second outage that is also affecting Facebook’s Platform Status page, so no information on either the cause of the outage or the expected resolution time is available.

So back to work everyone, unless you simply hopped on to LinkedIn or Google+ instead.
